A Message from the Convention Chair
What are you doing April 8th through April 10th? Attending the 93rd Michigan PTSA Convention in Lansing – Great Answer! I truly believe there is no better way to get re-energized, re-focused and re-committed to PTA.
This Convention will be filled with workshops and activities for everyone. There will be workshops on Bullying, Sexting, and Cultural Competency. We will be spending time on Health and Wellness, with Yoga and Zumba classes on Sunday. Learn to take care of yourself so that you can continue your hard work for the children of our state! We are also offering our 2nd Annual 5K Walk/Run free to registrants of the convention.
The Awards ceremony will take place on Friday evening. Elections for the 2011-2013 Officers will take place Saturday.
Bylaws amendments and Resolutions will be presented and voted on throughout the General Meetings during this convention. Make your plans today and come to Lansing. Bring yourself and bring your friends! Let us work together to Make the Connections and Build the Communities in Michigan to be the Best We Can Be in PTA !
