Smoke on the Grill

Dearborn – The annual Smoke on the Grill was held from 4pm-7pm on Thursday, October 1st at Ford Field Park.

This event was sponsored by Dearborn’s Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA), the City of Dearborn, and the Dearborn Goodfellows. Mayor John B. O’Reilly served as honorary chairman. The money raised at the event helps fund new technology, uniforms and other items students need but aren’t covered in our schools' ever-shrinking budget.

Scholarship Opportunity

The Fran Anderson Michigan PTSA Scholarship provides an opportunity for PTSA members that are high school seniors to receive a $1,000 scholarship for their first year of college.  Application deadline is January 15, 2010 – visit www.michiganpta.org for additional information.
